Dear Friends:

As we begin the New Year, I want to thank you for your prayers in 2007. It is my earnest desire that 2008 will be a remarkable year for my ministry as I reach out to a hurting world with a message of hope and salvation.

While I was reviewing my upcoming preaching itinerary, I noticed that I still have some dates unfilled. Thus, I would encourage you to pray intently that my preaching opportunities continue to increase and expand. At the same time, understand that I am available to minister at any church of any size, wherever God might open a door.

Please continue to keep Christ-Pointe Ministries in your prayers as well as those who will hear the Gospel through this ministry. Thank you again, and may God richly bless you this New Year!

It's all about pointing people to Christ!

I'm definitely not a fan of marketing; however, it sure doesn't seem that way ... does it? There's my name at the top of my newsletter, my picture, and some notable endorsements on my website. There's so much Blake this and Dr. Carroll that. Why? Mostly to overcome your objections. Am I loyal, am I friendly, am I scriptural, etc. Yet, my heartfelt prayer is - and please join me in this - that in all this necessary attention to myself, I may point the lost to Jesus Christ, and that God might be glorified through His Son.
