Statement of Principles:

DECISIONS:

I am under no commitment to "generate" decisions and have no record to maintain. I will preach, pray, and visit to the very best of my capability, and then confide in the Lord to provide whatever increase He pleases. I assure you there will be no pressurized invitations. They will be clear, concise, and given gracefully.

MONEY:

In no way will I ever endorse the offering. The earnest pastor who invites a vocational evangelist will recognize the unique needs of this calling and will lead the church to give an admirable offering. If the Holy Spirit has prompted you to invite me, He will lead you to know what I need to continue in this ministry. I do not request the names of your people for a mailing list, nor will I contact them asking for financial assistance after the meeting is concluded.

PASTOR:

If I know my heart, I want to gladly assist you as a pastor. One does not spend five years in the pastorate without understanding the burdens, as well as the blessings, of this calling. You can rest in absolute assurance that I will respect and applaud your ministry before your church.

PREACHING:

I will do my very best to preach those messages that the Holy Spirit impresses upon my heart. While it is probable, as an evangelist, that those messages the Lord blesses will be recurring in other meetings, I will intently pray that the Lord will deliver me from preaching "sermonettes." You can be certain that I will in no way browbeat your church.

VISITATION:

I am coming to be your guest. In any way that I can assist you, I want to be utilized. I will be your servant and will do whatever you wish in this area of ministry.
